Located at the confluence of the Emerald River with the mighty Misty River, Emerald City began as a simple trading post. With its more central location in the state, the capital was moved from [[San Jotapa]] to Emerald City to better serve Pakola and be closer to [[Alko]], prompting major growth in the city.
