{{ :thl_sin.png?200|}}The **Sina Serpents** are a professional hockey team based in [[Sina|Sina, Galapetra]]. They compete in the [[Torland Hockey League]] as a member of the [[Willard Division]]. The team is owned by Fred Winkler and plays their home games at the EverStar Center.

The team was founded in 1983 by Winkler as part of that year's league expansion. The Serpents have not won the Marcotte Cup in one appearance.

The fans in Sina have been notoriously fickle, unsurprising considering the reputation of Sina as the entertainment capital of Torland. Building a loyal fanbase has been a challenge for owner Fred Winkler and the team but they have seen their reach slowly expanding.

The Serpents don't have any established rivalries but they have a budding one with Portarra and the Whales from being in the same division. A huge upset of the heavily-favored Whales in the 1991 wildcard round helped spur their rivalry.

The Serpents are currently owned by Fred Winkler, who founded the team in 1983. Winkler is a businessman originally from Fort Bevin with local interests in Sina.

==== Home ice ====

The Serpents play their home games at the EverStar Center in Sina. Completed in 1980, the EverStar is a state-of-the-art arena built for both entertainment and indoor sports events. The building's layout is better suited for rock shows than ice hockey which puts it at a disadvantage when the team has trouble filling the stands for games.  It has been voted among the least favorite places to play by THL players. The Serpents, meanwhile, have tried to turn that into a home ice advantage and own it as their brand.
