The Quebel Crusaders are a professional hockey team based in Quebel, Alrene Isles. They compete in the Torland Hockey League as a member of the Elam Division. The team is owned by Andrew Conti and plays their home games at the Alrene Athletics Arena.
The team was founded in 1979 by Conti as part of that year's league expansion. The Crusaders have not yet won the Marcotte Cup.
The two primary cities on Alrene Island have a somewhat brotherly rivalry, both being centers of nautical and fishing industries. Port Alrene is 10 times the size of Quebel though, so the folks of Quebel are definitely the little brothers and are prone to youngest sibling syndrome.
The Crusaders are currently owned by Andrew Conti, who founded the team in 1979.
The Crusaders play their home games at the Alrene Athletics Arena in Quebel, Alrene Isles. Known as the “Triple A” or the “Rust Bucket”, the Crusaders' home ice is a small building by league standards. It looks like an old warehouse near the Wharf District and was purposely given a rusty outer texture to blend in with the aging fish warehouses nearby.
The Crusaders' colors are teal, red, and white.
The Crusaders are affiliated with the Quebel Keystones of the Alrene Isles Hockey Association.
