+Kirkenport is home to Fort McLendon, a Torland Navy and Air Corps base located on the south side of the Isle of Kirk just outside city limits. The base also runs a publicly shared regional airport, Isle of Kirk Airport (IOK) which is leased to the city for public transportation.
