Portarra is the oldest city in Torland and a hub for fishing and marine industry on Cooley Bay.

Fort Bevin is a military Mecca in Torland and gateway for shipping and industry with its location in the Lone Prairie Valley.

Sina is the entertainment capital of Torland, known for its vibrant night life on the banks of Lake Furben.

The city of Rosran is the state capitol of Galapetra, a smaller city that also is home to Howerton State University.

Weather patterns in Galapetra are often unpredictable. The upper half of the state is more forested and typically overcast with lots of fog and rain year-round, particularly along the coastal areas of Cooley Bay. The lower half of the state is much drier and more arid with less forested areas but typically receives plenty of fast-moving thunderstorms that produce flash floods in the area. The soil is rich, however, and provides plenty of options for agriculture. Most of the state experiences very cold and harsh winters with a more mild but short summer season.

The southern tip along Lake Furben is the most beautiful area of the state, with plenty of flora and fauna and a more temperate climate.

By and large, Galapetra holds fast to their very conservative ideals. However, Portarra has seen a surge in more liberal viewpoints in recent years, along with Sina, as more people have relocated to the state from other areas for lower housing prices.
