Saint Serra University is the premier institution in the city, along with the UMSF (University of Maienzona-San Ferrio) campus.
Infrastructure
Parion Motor Company, founded by Pierre Parion, is one of Torland's top automotive manufacturers and has a primary factory based in San Ferrio. Their rivalry with fellow top automaker Alpine Motors has fueled Torland into becoming a premiere level auto exporter in the world.
Sports
The city is home to the San Ferrio Tars of the Torland Star League who play at Hallcedony Park. The Torland Auto Racing Association (TARA) is headquartered in the city, which oversees Formula Twelve. Zent Auto Racing Circuit is the top circuit in the city and one of premiere tracks in all of Torland.
