Trowburgh is the largest city in the state of Lismane and the 8th largest in Torland. It is the primary financial center in Torland.

Trowburgh is a city of extremes. The financial district of Goldleaf has massive wealth, functioning as the heart of the financial center of Torland. The surrounding suburbs of rich Goldleaf execs flaunt their high standing. Everything in between is a sharp drop with some neighborhoods being in near poverty. The city itself is poorly run with failing infrastructure and urban blights everywhere. The infamous Redleaf District remains a hotbed for vice and criminal activity. Trowburgh is a known center for the mob and several national-level gangs. Crime is high in the city due to the wealth-poverty divide. A recently inner city revitalization and gentrification project has helped combat some of the issues but locals complain the issues just keep being driven further outside of downtown and no real change is occurring. Low taxes and access to the financial centers keep large businesses in Trowburgh and continues to spur economic growth.

The primary higher institution of learning in Torland is a satellite campus of Hemstrand University. The law school arm of Lecayne University is also located in Trowburgh.

Trowburgh is home to the Trowburgh Herons of the Torland Hockey League who plays their home games at the Goldleaf Center.

Due to its status as a financial center, Trowburgh is home to several league headquarters, including the THL and UTAC.
