Waterdee is the largest city and capital of the state of Granago and the 3rd largest in Torland and part of the Waterdee-Hilversale Metropolitan Area (WHMA).
Founded in the late 1800's by Welsh immigrants, Waterdee is a historic city in Torland and has been an important figure in Torland politics since its inception. Waterdee is the state capital of Granago and is considered a premier location for national politics in Torland, partly due to Waterdee being home to many of the nation's top publications in print and radio.
The University of Granago (UG or U of G) is located in College Park on the westside of Waterdee, a prestigious institution for law, medical, and higher learning. The Lions are also a top collegiate athletics program, competing in the elite Big 6 conference.
Waterdee is served by the Waterdee-Hilversale International Airport (WHX) located just outside city limits south of Kotara.
Blythe Bay Harbor is among the busiest ports on the eastern coast with the majority of industry being located in Blythe Park. The old wharves in Waterfront Park have been retrofitted into restaurant and shopping while the majority of privates marinas and yachts moor at the wharves in Monabar Hill.
Old Town is one of the most well preserved downtowns in Torland with iconic old late 1880's architecture. The interchange of Highway 1 and Highway 2 is situated underground via a tunnel system in Old Town. Waterdee is considered among Torland's most well-planned cities with an excellent road and highway network, attributable to the University of Granago producing Torland's best architects.
The Waterdee Ducks of the Torland Star League call Waterdee home and play at Union Park Field. The Waterdee Dragons joined the THL in 1992.
