Chasonne is the largest city in the state of Forstana and the 10th largest in Torland. It is considered the music capital of Torland and has a long history of being a hub for fine arts and liberal ideals.

FSU Chasonne is the city's primary college-level campus. FSUC does not feature any collegiate sports.

Chasonne is home to the Chasonne Heralds of the Torland Hockey League who plays their home games at the Song City Forum.

Chasonne also hosted the 1992 Winter Olympics.
